Ab Kettleby Parish Council Serving the people of Ab Kettleby, Holwell and Wartnaby
The Ab Kettleby Parish Council has a designated area in which lie the village of Ab Kettleby and the hamlets of Holwell and Wartnaby. All three are listed in the Domesday Book of 1086 and of course had been in existence for a long time before that: the Romans certainly found this part of Leicestershire pleasant, as evidenced by the remains of a villa beneath the churchyard of St. James in Ab Kettleby.
