Travel in Time

Estelle Slegers Helsen, living in Waltham on the Wolds, is a heritage addict and a photographer. Each week she visits one of the Melton Borough villages, armed with an old village view picture and her camera. For the Travel in Time series, she takes a new picture and tells the tales.

At the end of May 2021 she pictured remakes of two old postcards of Wartnaby Road in Ab Kettleby. To write about the story of these pictures she would like to receive your comments and recollections on the old and new pictures. Do you have an idea when the old postcards were taken?
